I'm not a professional - can I still repair my own watch?
Some repairs can be easily carried out at home with just a bit of research. All Casio products are designed for DIY repairs. Most straps are straightforward to fit. Most customers are able to change their battery / capacitor very easily. For anything involving the movement we recommend sourcing a professional watch repair shop to carry out this task.
I've changed the battery, but the watch is still not working?
First, please make sure you've allowed the battery or capacitor enough time to gain initial charge. Solar powered options (e.g. Casio, Citizen) should be left on a windowsill for a few hours once fitted. Kinetic options (e.g. Seiko) should be worn for a few hours once fitted. If the battery still isn't working after trying this, it could be an issue with the movement. Please contact us.
Will my watch still be waterproof after changing a part?
This can only be guaranteed if the repair is carried out with professional equipment. Please take the watch to a repair shop or jeweller if waterproofing is required.
