Watch screws are small but essential components that hold key parts of your watch together, such as the case back, bracelet links, and movement clamps. Over time, screws can become lost, stripped or damaged.
Before ordering replacement watch screws, it’s essential to identify the correct type and size for your specific watch.
We supply a range of watch screws, including those used in Casio watches and universal replacement screws for other brands.
To identify the correct screws, you will need to provide either your watch model number (for Casio watches) or the precise screw measurements (for all other watches).
Casio Watches
For Casio watches, the easiest and most reliable way to identify the correct screws is by using the model number. The model number is usually found on the case back of the watch.
If we do not currently have the part in stock, we may be able to order something in from you direct from Casio. To check availability, please send us a clear photograph of the back of your watch showing the model number. You can email this to us at info@maddisonsofdurham.co.uk
Here is an example of where the model number is located. In this example, the model number is DW-5600CS.

Please note that many parts for older Casio watches have now been discontinued by the manufacturer, particularly models produced before 2000. Unfortunately, if a part has been discontinued, we will be unable to obtain a replacement.
All Other Watches
For all other watch brands, screws are not typically identified by model number alone. Instead, you will need to measure the screw itself.
To ensure the correct fit, please provide the following measurements in millimetres (mm):
- Thread Diameter - the width of the threaded section of the screw. Measure across the outer threads using a digital calliper for accuracy.
- Thread Length - the length of the threaded portion only, not including the head of the screw.
- Head Diameter - the width of the screw head at its widest point.
Accurate measurements are essential, as even a 0.1mm difference can affect whether the screw fits correctly or not.
Our team will be happy to help identify the correct replacement screws before you place an order, however we do need all the information requested in order to assist. The more information you can provide, the faster and more accurately we can help find a screw that suits your watch.
