OUR STORY

Established in 2015, Maddisons of Durham continues to grow from strength to strength. A surge in demand during the initial Covid-19 lockdown allowed us to build an exciting, new website and become a real competitor to some of the more established jewellery supply businesses.

We are a close-knit, craft-loving team of dogs, humans, and a Bengal cat. Our staff are passionate about what we sell and eager to provide a personable buying experience. We are real people and so are you! It has been a pleasure to get to know many of our lovely customers so well over the last few years.

WHAT WE DO
Maddisons stocks a huge range of affordable watch and jewellery making supplies. We deal directly with the manufacturers which allows us to offer the best value possible. We know we get the best value possible because we even receive Christmas presents from many of our suppliers (returned in-kind). So, you are unlikely to find any of the items we stock cheaper elsewhere! We know you want your order straight away, so we despatch orders the same day when purchased before 3pm. Even more than that, we offer 180-day returns if you find one of our items (unused and unloved) in your drawer.

We have thousands of returning customers and it is our ambition to become a one-stop-shop for jewellery makers, horologists, artisans, students, and hobbyists around the world. Maddisons are proud to stock a wide range of market-leading brands including Beadsmith, Daylight Company, Durston, Dumont, ImpressArt and Presidium. We also stock our own range of watch and jewellery making supplies painstakingly sourced so that we can provide a value for money unrivalled by our competitors.
