Meet the Speedle Needle, the quick and efficient way to string beads in a minimal amount of time. These needles are ideal when you need to thread multiple beads. These twisted wire needles measure 3 inches (76mm) long and feature a collapsible eye and a barbed end. They come in a pack of 2 needles.
Made in Japan, the Speedle Needles are a great tool for threading 15/0 - 11/0 seed beads onto thread especially if they're in a narrow tube.
To load beads onto your thread, knot one end of the thread and pass the other through the collapsible eye of the needle, then push the barbed end in and out of the container of beads repeatedly, pausing occasionally to push the beads over the eye and down onto your thread.
This needle has a large round eye at the end, making it very easy to thread. Once the first set of beads have been threaded over the eye, it will collapse and hold onto the thread quite nicely. Because of this, twisted wire needles are great for threading larger materials like ribbon, silk and yarn. However, it is suggested that you keep the length of your stringing material a bit longer at the end, as it is difficult to re-thread after the eye has collapsed.
The Speedle Needle is perfect for jewellery designs and DIY crafters who want to quickly and efficiently string seed beads. Use with nylon, silk and Kevlar threads, monofilaments or elastic cords. This essential supply is perfect for beginner or expert jewellery makers alike because of their versatility and ease of use. For this tool to be effective, there is a functional sharp edge.

Dispatch Times
We endeavour to dispatch all orders placed before 3pm on the same day (weekdays only, excluding bank holidays).
UK Mainland
- Orders below £50: Charged at £3.50 and typically sent via Royal Mail 24 or 24 Tracked service.
- Orders above £50: Sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 service.
Please note that while next-day delivery is common, it cannot be guaranteed. If you urgently require your order, we strongly recommend selecting the Royal Mail Special Delivery option at checkout, which incurs an additional charge.

International
We are working to integrate with Royal Mail and DHL at checkout. For now, please add your items to the basket and contact us for a shipping quote at checkout.
Most international orders are shipped via Royal Mail’s Tracked and Signed service. Orders generally arrive within 4-10 days, but customs delays can occur. If no one is home, the item may be taken to your local sorting office.
UK Value Added Tax (VAT) Charges
We will automatically remove any applicable UK VAT from your order during checkout once you select a shipping destination outside the United Kingdom or Isle of Man.
You may be subject to import taxes, duties, and fees once your parcel arrives in your country. Typically, the courier will contact you once your parcel has been processed by customs.
For VAT purposes, Jersey and Guernsey are considered outside the United Kingdom, so UK VAT will be removed from orders shipping to these locations.
