Description
Delrin Stakes Set of 9 for Metal Clay Forming
- The 9 Delrin stakes are specifically designed for working with metal clay. Each stake serves as a core over which the metal clay can be shaped and formed. The included stand securely holds the stakes in place while you model your work.
- Hollow domed forms can be created by shaping the clay directly on a Delrin stake. Once removed from the stake, concave forms can be textured or further sculpted as desired.
- Please note, Delrin stakes should not be carved with undercuts, as this can cause the metal clay to catch or snag during removal.
- Delrin is a special nylon plastic, ideal for use with metal clay as it will prevent marks on the surface. The stakes can be found to make custom shapes or hollowed areas.

Dispatch Times
We endeavour to dispatch all orders placed before 3pm on the same day (weekdays only, excluding bank holidays).
UK Mainland
- Orders below £50: Charged at £3.50 and typically sent via Royal Mail 24 or 24 Tracked service.
- Orders above £50: Sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 service.
Please note that while next-day delivery is common, it cannot be guaranteed. If you urgently require your order, we strongly recommend selecting the Royal Mail Special Delivery option at checkout, which incurs an additional charge.

International
We are working to integrate with Royal Mail and DHL at checkout. For now, please add your items to the basket and contact us for a shipping quote at checkout.
Most international orders are shipped via Royal Mail’s Tracked and Signed service. Orders generally arrive within 4-10 days, but customs delays can occur. If no one is home, the item may be taken to your local sorting office.
UK Value Added Tax (VAT) Charges
We will automatically remove any applicable UK VAT from your order during checkout once you select a shipping destination outside the United Kingdom or Isle of Man.
You may be subject to import taxes, duties, and fees once your parcel arrives in your country. Typically, the courier will contact you once your parcel has been processed by customs.
For VAT purposes, Jersey and Guernsey are considered outside the United Kingdom, so UK VAT will be removed from orders shipping to these locations.
