Presidium Synthetic Diamond Screener 2 SDS II
Enhanced with additional features, the Synthetic Diamond Screener II now tests for diamond melees as small as 0.02 carats with instantaneous results, through the measurement of UV absorption.
The Synthetic Diamond Screener II is developed as a portable PRESIDIUM DIAMOND VERIFICATION INSTRUMENT® to help screen out Type IIa colorless diamond, which is likely to be laboratory-grown and created through chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or high pressure high temperature (HPHT) syntheses, from the natural Type Ia colorless diamond.
When subjected to this deep UV irradiation, Type Ia and Type IIa diamonds each absorb different amount of UV light. Type IIa diamonds allow deeper UV light to pass through and thus its UV light absorption ability is low. This difference in the light absorption is significant enough to aid in differentiating between colorless Type Ia and Type IIa diamonds.

Dispatch Times
We endeavour to dispatch all orders placed before 3pm on the same day (weekdays only, excluding bank holidays).
UK Mainland
- Orders below £50: Charged at £2.95 and typically sent via Royal Mail 24 or 24 Tracked service.
- Orders above £50: Sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 service.
Please note that while next-day delivery is common, it cannot be guaranteed. If you urgently require your order, we strongly recommend selecting the Royal Mail Special Delivery option at checkout, which incurs an additional charge.

International
We are working to integrate with Royal Mail and DHL at checkout. For now, please add your items to the basket and contact us for a shipping quote at checkout.
Most international orders are shipped via Royal Mail’s Tracked and Signed service. Orders generally arrive within 4-10 days, but customs delays can occur. If no one is home, the item may be taken to your local sorting office.
UK Value Added Tax (VAT) Charges
We will automatically remove any applicable UK VAT from your order during checkout once you select a shipping destination outside the United Kingdom or Isle of Man.
You may be subject to import taxes, duties, and fees once your parcel arrives in your country. Typically, the courier will contact you once your parcel has been processed by customs.
For VAT purposes, Jersey and Guernsey are considered outside the United Kingdom, so UK VAT will be removed from orders shipping to these locations.
