Fretz stakes pair with holders based on their series size and tang shape. Our visual guides make finding your combination simple - just select the stake you require, then take a look at the product image to build your kit.
Most stakes have a few holder options so you can choose whether to screw it directly to your workbench, or clamp into a vice. The stakes themselves are great for forming curves and bezels, and are available in a full range of sizes from the tiny I-series micro stakes, to the larger 100-series options.
How To Use Our Guides
Our guides are easy to follow - this example is for a few different collections:
All these stakes suit one of the holder combinations below:
-
H-1, which can be screwed directly to your workbench, or attached to VB-1 and clamped into your vice
-
H-1L (same as above but with a longer reach), which can be screwed directly to your workbench, or attached to VB-1 and clamped into your vice
-
VH-1, which is a holder that's clamped directly into your vice

Some stakes have their own special combinations - for example, the Michael Good G-Series Stakes require the special G-Series Holder to match. The I-Series Micro Stakes all require the H-2 Holder, which is then fitted into another holder such as the H-1.
Building your own stake set is easy, and our visual guides help illustrate exactly which combination you will need based on the stake you have chosen. If you need any help identifying which holder you require, please contact us!
