The Presidium Gem Indicator, the only handheld tester in the industry specifically for coloured gemstones, indicates up to 31 different types of coloured gems based on their thermal conductivity and even features a colour input function that allows users to select from a range of 12 common colours, thereby achieving more accurate results. With an easy-to-read clear digital LED screen, this smart thermal tester also comes with the Presidium patented refined changeable probe tip, which ensures minimal equipment downtime.
The Presidium Gem Indicator is an enhanced and more convenient handheld version of the revolutionary Presidium Gem Tester/Coloured Stone Estimator.
The Presidium Gem Indicator probe consists of two linked thermometers; one which is heated electronically, while the other is cooled by the gemstone being tested. The difference in temperature creates an electrical output, which is then amplified and displayed on the new digital organic LED display.
It is simple to use, easy to maintain, and quick in giving you intelligent results about your coloured gemstones.

Dispatch Times
We endeavour to dispatch all orders placed before 3pm on the same day (weekdays only, excluding bank holidays).
UK Mainland
- Orders below £50: Charged at £2.95 and typically sent via Royal Mail 24 or 24 Tracked service.
- Orders above £50: Sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 service.
Please note that while next-day delivery is common, it cannot be guaranteed. If you urgently require your order, we strongly recommend selecting the Royal Mail Special Delivery option at checkout, which incurs an additional charge.

International
We are working to integrate with Royal Mail and DHL at checkout. For now, please add your items to the basket and contact us for a shipping quote at checkout.
Most international orders are shipped via Royal Mail’s Tracked and Signed service. Orders generally arrive within 4-10 days, but customs delays can occur. If no one is home, the item may be taken to your local sorting office.
UK Value Added Tax (VAT) Charges
We will automatically remove any applicable UK VAT from your order during checkout once you select a shipping destination outside the United Kingdom or Isle of Man.
You may be subject to import taxes, duties, and fees once your parcel arrives in your country. Typically, the courier will contact you once your parcel has been processed by customs.
For VAT purposes, Jersey and Guernsey are considered outside the United Kingdom, so UK VAT will be removed from orders shipping to these locations.
