When fired, the separation enamel changes the viscosity of the area producing a flowing or spreading effect, somewhat similar to a marbleised or blooming effect. Dry and fire at 1450°-1550°F for 2-5 minutes. (787°-843°C).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSupplied in 10g quantity of dry powder. To use, mix with an ash-free oil (such as the \u003ca href=\"\/products\/thompson-enamel-a-4-squeegee-oil-60ml\"\u003eA-4 Squeegee Oil\u003c\/a\u003e). A little water can be added to alter the consistency. We suggest mixing to a honey consistency. Pieces usually require counter enamelling first.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter application, allow the piece to fully dry before firing.
